| In
our ongoing quest to dominate the region, quit our day jobs, or at
least get more gigs; we're asking for your help. The fact that you're
on this site and, in particular, this page is a great start. It probably
means that not only are you a fan, but a fan interested in seeing
your Kelvins succeed. What we need is for you to spread the word about
us. We'll do the labor [posting fliers, booking gigs, etc.], and we'll
keep on writing, recording and performing the best rock we know how.
The bottom line is that the more people we get into the clubs, the
more clubs will book us. |
|

- Tell
a friend.
The best advertising is word of mouth, so use yours. Know a club
owner? Ask them to bring us in...you get the idea.
- Bring
a friend.
Hell, bring a dozen if you can, but bringing your friends to our
shows will go a long way towards helping us achieve our goals.
- Send
someone here. This website is a fine starting point for anyone
who wants to learn about us.
- Help
us fill the bus. We'll be scheduling more bus trips to NYC
and Boston soon, and your posse will help us fill [and pay for]
the bus. We'll have tix for sale right here on the web site, so
anyone with a credit card will be able to buy them.
- Request
us. Radio stations want to hear from the public - want to
make tham happy. Call your favorite rock station and request us
at times when they feature local artists. Not only will we [possibly]
get such airplay, but when they book shows, they'll want us on
the bill. Some examples:
- WCCC
has been known to play locals on any given night shift, but
particularly during the Steven Wayne and Moe show.
- WMRQ
has a locals show on Sunday nights at 10pm with Cousin Chris.
- WPLR
will probably respond to repeated requests with light airplay
at any given time.
You
get the idea...
- Buy
our goods. we sell tee shirts, demo CDs and, coming soon,
lots more Kelviny stuff. Buying it will allow us to pay for studio
time and pressing costs on our upcoming CD.

| Well,
we'd like to give you the moon, but we do have a crafty idea
or 2. We'll be creating a very limited number of badges [actually,
they're more like backstage laminates] that we'll give to those
of you who we see as our helpers. |
|
Whenever we book a gig, we'll post on this page what your
badge will do or you. This may mean some free drinks, free
admittance, free goods, or whatever we can fanagle. The badges
will start appearing within the next month or so, and will
look something like the image at right.
When
you get one, it'll be good for one year, then new badges will
be issued. We hope that someday in the not-too-distant future,
these will actually become backstage passes for our shows
at The Meadows.
Think
you deserve one? Email
us and let us know!
